Evangelism Team

The Evangelism Team seeks to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The evangelism ministry coordinates the evangelistic outreach efforts of the congregation. The evangelism ministry coordinates our Bible correspondence courses and personal Bible studies.   

 

Financial Ministry

The Financial Ministry is in charge of managing the finances of the congregation. The Financial Ministry maintains accurate records regarding the congregation's finances. This ministry is responsible for paying church expenses and handles all benevolence requests. This ministry hires all contractors and is responsible for building maintenance. 

 

Hospitality Ministry 

The Hospitality Ministry plans and serve all meals at Northside including fellowship meals, funeral repast meals, and meals for special events. The Hospitality Ministry is in charge of decorating for all fellowship meals and special events hosted by Northside.  

 

Men’s Ministry

The Men's Ministry exists to train and develop men into effective church leaders.  The Men's Ministry promotes Christian growth through fellowship among the men of the congregation.

   

Ladies of Distinction Women’s Ministry

The Women's Ministry serves the unique spiritual needs of women in the church and community. The ministry also promotes fellowship amongst sisters in the congregation.

Monthly Manna

The Manna Ministry provides food and supplies to the homeless and others in need. The ministry cooks and delivers monthly meals to the homeless, senior citizens, and sick and shut-in individuals.

 

Senior Ministry

The Senior Ministry addresses the unique physical, spiritual, and social needs of our “seasoned” saints. Seniors meet weekly for games and activities. Seniors also visit local nursing homes to encourage and socially interact with residents. The Senior Ministry hosts social events for seniors and the entire congregation.

 

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry is responsible for live streaming worship service and Bible Study, managing all social media platforms, maintaining the church’s website, and taking photos during church events. The Media Ministry also designs various print materials for the church.

 

Welcome Team 

Welcome Team provides all visitors with a warm welcome to Northside. The ministry provides all visitors with a visitor’s packet, collects all visitor cards and shares them with appropriate staff members. The Welcome Team is responsible for keeping the welcome station stocked with necessary materials. The Welcome Team also helps to integrate new members into Northside by providing new members packets and planning new members luncheon. This ministry is responsible for updating the church directory. 

 

Youth Ministry

The mission of the Youth Ministry is to teach youth about Jesus Christ and equip them for service in the kingdom of God. Youth Ministry activities include weekly bible studies for all ages, summer vacation bible school, attending youth rallies, and competing in Bible Bowl competitions
